In our Parkinson’s Clinic, our experts perform complete assessments with diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson’s disease. After initial consultation, our patients are regularly followed up on a periodic basis.
Movement Disorders may be due to too much movement, i.e. hyperkinetic movement disorders, or due to paucity of movement i.e. hypokinetic movement disorders. Some of the Movement Disorders are well known, such as Parkinson's disease, but many others may not be well known, such as Dystonia and Myoclonus. Botulinum Toxin Clinic provides Botulinum Toxin injection treatment for various Movement Disorders, including Dystonic condition, Blepharospam, Hemifacial spasm, Essential tremor, Tics, limb dystonia, drooling, chronic migraine, hyperhidrosis and other related disorders.
Memory Clinic provides comprehensive cognitive assessments for conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease, and other dementias. Our multilingual staff can assess patients with diverse backgrounds.
General Neurology Clinic provides services for conditions such as headaches and migraine, Epilepsy, Dizziness, Neuropathy, Neuromuscular disorders, Stroke, Multiple sclerosis and other neurological condition.
EMG & Nerve Conduction Studies service is available for assessment of peripheral nervous system disorders such as carpal tunnel syndrome, polyneuropathy and radiculopathy or other related indications.
Other on premises available services include physiotherapy, massage therapy, urgent care center, walk in clinic and qualified pharmacy staff, all under one roof. We are well-linked with various other services such as psychiatry, geriatrics, urology, psychotherapy, and counselling, which may be needed by patients with neurological conditions.
Many patients from other parts of Canada are regularly referred by their physicians to be seen at our clinic for Parkinsonism and Movement disorders. All out of province patients also require referrals in order to be seen at our clinic. Physicians can use the same phone and fax number to request appointments for their patients from other provinces. Our Experts speak many languages including Punjabi, Hindi, Arabic, Persian, Urdu, Saraiki and Gujarati.
Due to notable reputation of our experts and the services we provide, often, patients with complex Parkinsonism, Movement disorders and other neurological conditions from various parts of the world travel to Toronto to be seen at our clinic. Patients from overseas can only be seen at the Parkinson’s Clinic of Eastern Toronto with prior arrangements, and these Patients should make their own travel, visa and lodging arrangements. Overseas patients and / or their physicians can also use the same phone and fax number to request appointments.

Appointments are given after ensuring that our availability to local patients is not compromised. Furthermore, similar fee structure applicable to local patients also applies to our overseas patients.
Our experts are often invited to deliver educational lectures, seminars and presentations on Parkinson’s and Movement Disorder around the world. Such requests should be made at least 2 months prior to the date of presentation, so that accommodations can be made in our busy schedules.
